Pigs
M&B Farview Farm sells Heritage Pigs that are chemical free, corn and soy free, no growth hormones and only use homeopathy to prevent and treat illnesses. What does this mean to you?
This means it takes more time and costs more to raise our pigs. Our pigs cost more but they are far superior to market pigs! M&B Farview Farm sells pigs for butchering, roasters, breeders and castrated male piglets. We do not sell breed sows. Order early, they sell out fast! We raise and sell unregistered purebred and crossbred Heritage Pigs.
Please Note:
We do not sell finished, full-grown pigs for 4H projects. We only sell castrated male pigs, roaster pigs, full-grown pigs to butcher or butchered for you and breeders.
Our pigs are not market hogs and we don't offer our pigs at market price. These are all natural fed, pasture raised, chemical free Heritage Pigs of the highest quality. Because these are not market pigs, please do not contact us in regards to market priced pigs.

Piglets
We sell unregistered, pure-bred and cross-bred Heritage piglets.
I have cross-bred a few of our registered pig breeds in an effort to get the best of both breeds, which in turn, produce better bacon and ham, grow faster and have less fat.
About Our Piglets:
Our pigs are outside from birth. They have pens they can go into to get out of the weather or to birth. All of our pigs for sale are raised on the ground and given fresh milk every day. The pigs and piglets receive corn and soy free feed 24/7. I enjoy raising different breeds to see the difference in growth, personality, mothering and of course taste of the meat.
Pigs for Sale:
Typically, these pigs will weigh between 200-250 pounds and are usually about five months old when butchered. Our pigs tend to have a great deal of meat. In the summer of 2005, we had a pig roast and used one of our pigs. The pig weighed 220 pounds dressed and we fed 200+ people with lots of left-overs! The meat was moist and very tasty. I am told that you loose about 20-30% of the pigs weight with skin, bone and fat. So, we sell our pigs at 250 pounds more or less, which means you would end up with approximately 175-190 pounds of meat. Roaster Pigs for Sale - Butchered Pigs for Sale: We typically have pigs for sale all year round. The pigs for sale are available whole, half or specific cuts. We feed all of our pigs fresh milk twice per day and all corn and soy free feed they want. We sell unregistered pure-bred and cross-bred Heritage Pigs.
