The Tamworth Pig is a heritage
breed. Tamworth pigs are a breed not used by the
commercial breeders because they don't grow as quickly and
have a higher fat content. I like them for their color and
because they are a very hardy pig that can be raised
outside. They are also a rare breed of pig. We have these
and other Pigs for sale year around.

We are currently not
breeding or selling purebred Yorkshire pigs, we are only raising and
selling Yorkshire Crosses. We are getting nicer pigs from
Tamworth/Yorkshire crosses as the meat if far better in our opinion.

of pig that is faster growing. The Yorkshire Pig pictured

born 1/05 and her name is Lizzie. The Tamworth pigs
pictured with her were born 10/04.
