Cross Bred Dairy Goats

    We have a number of cross bred dairy goats. I call them my experimental group. I did some crossing of different goat breeds to increase the fat content in their milk and increase the frame on these goats. I have Nubian - Oberhasli crosses for the increase fat content in the milk and boar Nubian goat crosses to increase the frame on these dairy goats.

2/20/07  Sallie had twin girls today! They are not for sale.

Cocoa on 1/8/07 delivered 1 female and two males they are a boer/ Nubian cross. We kept the female for our herd but the males sold fast.

Examples of our Cross Bred Goats

"Sophia's" triplets - One boy and two girls, they are a Nubian / Oberhasli cross, they are were bottle raised, they were born 6-3-06. They have the Oberhasli markings with long floppy Nubian ears.
