2. Our pigs are not market hogs. We don't
offer our pigs at market price. These are all natural fed,
pasture raised, heritage pigs of the highest quality. Because
these are not market pigs please don't contact us if your
looking for a market priced pig.

Baby Pigs For

Great for pig roasts, select cuts for the freezer
available. All natural fed, raised outside in clean
pasture areas, they are healthy and are some of the finest
pork you will ever have!
I have cross bred a few of our registered pig breeds in
an effort to get the best of both breeds, which is better bacon and hams,
faster growing, and less fat.
I can't wait to see how fast they grow and to try the meat.

piglets. These are another fine example of our high
quality pigs we breed and raise.

Our Baby Pigs:
Our pigs are outside from birth. They have pens they can
go into to get out of the weather or to birth.
Blue Butts pigs are a
Yorkshire pig / Hampshire pig cross and are a commercial
pig breed. Blue Butt pigs do well as far as rapid growth, so that is why
Blue Butt pigs are used by the commercial pig farmer.
All of our pigs for sale are raised on
the ground and given fresh milk twice per day. They have
chemical free pig feed available 24/7. I enjoy raising different breeds
of pigs such as the Blue Butt pigs and the Yorkshire pigs to see the difference in growth,
personality, mothering and of course taste of the meat.
We
have pigs for sale nearly all year round. We sell pigs live,
whole, half or offer selected cuts.

Cross Pigs For
Sale
Typically these pigs will be around 250lbs and 5
months old when butchered.
Blue Butt pigs tend to have a great deal of meat and
less fat. In the summer of 2005 we had a pig roast and used
a Blue Butt pig. That Blue Butt pig was 220 lbs dressed and we fed 200+ people
with a lot of leftovers. The meat was moist and very
tasty. I am told that you loose about 20-30% of the pigs
weight with skin, bone and fat. So we sell our pigs at 250
lbs more or less which means you would end up with approx
175-190 lbs of meat.

We typically have pigs for sale year round. The pigs for sale
are available in
whole, half and specific cuts. We feed all of our pigs fresh milk 2
times per day and all the chemical and antibiotic free pig
feed they want to eat.
